SYSTEM DESIGN

Acoustic Specifications

This is the technical description of what the room should sound like, taking into consideration reverberation time, frequency response curves, ambient noise level, transmission of sound into or out of the physical space, etc.

C.A.D.D. Services (see drawing examples-press here Link)

Noslar offers Auto CAD services. We can generate original drawings in DWG or DXF formats with various layers to incorporate the technical elements required in any project. The drawings can consist of Conceptual, Detailed, 3D modeling and Simple Line drawings. These drawings can include Layout Ceiling Plans, Floor Plans, Conduit Plan, Mechanical, Electrical, Special Structural Requirements, Specialty Lighting, Specialty HVAC, Video, Audio, Control, Data, Wall/Floor Plates and detail cabling requirements.

Conceptual Layouts

A Conceptual Layout is a quick drawing made to illustrate ideas or thoughts about how a system should be planned out. The drawing may later be modified to become a full documentation drawing if it is sufficiently detailed.

Custom System

A custom system is a design that is made according to unique specifications.

Lighting Requirements

The act of specifying types of lighting in order for the facility to be effectively used and safely lit. This includes consideration of fixtures, lamp types, fills, control systems, angles, dimmer circuits, remote controls, noise coefficients, reflectors, lenses, gels, roundels, and lighting effects.

Mechanical & Structural Requirements

Support for equipment and wall structure is essential to maintaining facility stability and integrity. Close work with the project’s Architect, Mechanical Engineers, HVAC, Interior Designers and associated trades is necessary to develop and review mechanical and structural conditions.

Data Integration

The process of allowing variables beyond the system to communicate with each other. These variables could include a scheduling program, user-level protections, or interfacing to databases with either user-input or other types of information transfer.

Network Systems

A group of computers physically connected by wire, fiber and/or infrared for the purposes of exchanging data.

Programming Flow Charts

Flow Charts are an excellent way to visually communicate a complex control system. They also give a concise view of what happens during certain conditions and certain requests.

Project Planning

The process in which a project is broken down into subtasks and assigned resources for completion. Once task inter-dependencies are established, the critical path is defined to determine the timeline. Project milestones are setup to track the progress of the project.

CONSULTING & ENGINEERING

Acoustical Coefficients

Acoustical Coefficients are the measurements of a physical space in terms of reverberation time, frequency response curve, ambient noise level, and transmission of sound into or out of the physical space.

Bid Formulation

A process of pricing labor, materials and resources from an RFP. The packages often contain detailed drawings, written project concepts, written subsystem concepts, theory of operations, and a detailed list of equipment and quantities.

Client Orientation

The process of providing a client with accurate information, technical recommendations and option upgrade paths.

Needs Assessment

A thorough examination of a client’s present and future requirements and/or wishes.

Project Coordination

The act of regulating and combining project elements such as resources, tasks, and materials in accordance with the project plan.

Project Monitoring

The act of observing and tracking a project’s progress based on the project milestones. It may also involve coordinating resources and materials.

RFP (Request for Proposal)

RFP (Request for Proposal) is a technical document with extensive details and drawings developed by Noslar to capsule your needs. This document is posted and provided to qualified vendors. The vendors provide a bid based on this document

Technical Writing

Technical writing is an ordered and specific instructional writing style whose final form may include instruction books, user guides, repair manuals, brochures, and handbooks.

Test & Measurements Evaluation

A suite of tests taken to measure the compliance of sub-systems to overall system specifications.

Vendor Review

This is a critical examination of vendor proposals to determine value, completeness, design sensibility and likelihood of success in relation to other proposals.
